Enzymatic amide bond formation: synthesis of aminooxo-acids through a Mycobacterium smegmatis acyltransferase

نویسندگان

چکیده

Starting from anilines and anhydrides a range of aminooxo-acids were prepared with excellent yields reaction times using an acyltransferase M. smegmatis (MsAcT) in water. Applying this process key intermediate SAHA was synthesized.

Triphenylphosphine-catalysed amide bond formation between carboxylic acids and amines.

Unactivated carboxylic acids and amines undergo organocatalytic Ph3P/CCl4-mediated amide bond formation by employing in situ reduction of triphenylphosphine oxide to triphenylphosphine in the presence of diethoxymethylsilane and bis(4-nitrophenyl)phosphate.

Efficient Amide Bond Formation through a Rapid and Strong Activation of Carboxylic Acids in a Microflow Reactor**

The development of highly efficient amide bond forming methods which are devoid of side reactions, including epimerization, is important, and such a method is described herein and is based on the concept of rapid and strong activation of carboxylic acids. Various carboxylic acids are rapidly (0.5 s) converted into highly active species, derived from the inexpensive and less-toxic solid triphosg...

Chemical conversion of β-O-4 lignin linkage models through Cu-catalyzed aerobic amide bond formation.

Methods for conversion of the lignin β-O-4 models into amide derivatives and phenols have been developed, which is achieved via chemo-selective oxidation of the secondary benzylic alcohol and subsequent Cu-catalyzed aerobic amide bond formation.
